Wow. This one really hit me. I’ve been told so many times by colleagues that I am tactless. Because I do theater I tend to avoid opening nights and receptions because I anticipate being asked my opinion which in most cases is not going to be what they want to hear. And yes in my personal interactions it is far easier to be honest with strangers then it is to be honest with those you love however as I get older it’s becoming easier to be honest with everyone even though I know it may hurt or in rare cases straight up say I don’t feel comfortable answering that.
