This resonates with me. I moved to Grand Rapids MI in Aug. While GR t is left leaning and there are, like HSV, lots of ways to stay connected to kink and such I loved being immersed in communities that I considered to be the best, most progressive, most aware and most inclusive embodiment of those scenes.
I still have lots to learn and have been pleasantly surprised each time I encounter new aspects.
