This, this, and more of this. Succinctly writing out how you feel about relationships, wanting a partner, wanting someone to grow with is to me one of the hardest things to achieve. Your writing resonates with me deeply, and I agree, taking the time to sit with ourselves, as we seek our own growth is key. Thank you for your writing, I appreciate it so much.

I hope my responses are not annoying. From my perspective, you have a "big ole brain" that catches what most people miss in life or in some cases (like me) can't exactly verbalize. My mind is always pondering and will usually get back to me later, which is usually ill-timed. Some of your posts have really resonated with me. It's nice to know there are others out there that can say what others may be thinking but can't put it into words as you do. This last post does hit home. After 22 years in the Army and dealing with subjugation, death, and carnage at times, and the life long after effects, I tend to forget I have another side sometimes, that wants (maybe craves) romantic love and that person that changes me on such a level it's almost a drug that pushes me past all the damage from life.
