Assuming that legalization and decriminalizing sex work aren’t the same thing, I wish the debate would have clarified the difference. I don’t like the let’s legalize and then tax argument, when simply not making it a crime for consenting adults to pay for sex work, accomplishes the goal to make sex trafficking easier to spot and eradicate.

Yes, I've never understood why Scandinavian feminists go out of their way to try to stop this. As a young soldier in Korea, I indulged (with long-term arrangements.) This was the mid-60s. Later, though, as I understand it, men and mama-sans took over the girls and began exploiting them. Same thing happened in Thailand. Illegality seems to open the door to more exploitation, as corruption makes arrangements with the police possible.

They can’t see past identity. Men are oppressors and women are oppressed. The truth is power is oppression when it’s coercive.
