People who attend church regularly do better on all kinds of measures. I am never going to have “faith” but at least in most Christian churches that is not a barrier to belonging. Just don’t be an atheist. I am warming up to religion too. Maybe Universitarianism?

I think it will take a generation to make Christianity compatible with liberal democracy again - if it can be done in a recognizable form at all.
