There’s a large and growing cohort of men who oppose abortion rights because they think women have too many advantages and resent women’s success and the fact that it allows women to reject them. They see forced birth as a way to increase the likelihood that they won’t die total reproductive losers.

I really don’t know how else to explain the fight over abortion right now.

The “pro-life” movement is not pro-life. It’s not even anti-abortion. It’s pro-forced birth.

Why else would you make abortion your main plank when abortions were already in decline? The rate of abortion in the US has been declining since the 1990s.
