I wanted to share a few tidbits I learned during a recent webinar/fundraiser hosted by Galvanize Action and the nonconnected PAC One For All about why and how Harris needs to win moderate women.

(By “moderate women” the organizers did not mean, unfortunately, people who are only moderately women. Personally, I would love to know more about genderqueer femmes flirting with fully abandoning the gender binary.)

I learned a lot at “Moderate Women in the Race to 270,” starting with who these women are. I also learned more about what moderate women in battleground states care about and which messages actually work to sway them. One interesting bit was how they feel differently about abortion than do solidly Republican and Democratic women.

First, the team shared demographic info on this key voting bloc.
