Yesterday’s post prompted a question from a reader: “Still puzzling over ‘I am not a particularly embodied person’ in the today’s S&tS.”
This brings up living in the Bay Area for me. Which is the only place I can remember hearing the word “embodiment” spoken aloud. It’s the only place I’ve heard a land acknowledgement take place and the word “container” used to mean, basically, group of people gathered together with a collective purpose. As in, “I want us to use this safe container to explore our bodies and consciousnesses.”
